11/19/08 Dinner Party
This evening we had an intimate party for a few close friends. It was the first (of many) at the baked apples, which were tremendous.
Menu included:
Cheese #1: Grafton cheddar aged one year.
Cheese #2: Truffle Tremor, Cypress Grove
Cheese #3: Ewephoria, Aged Gouda
App #1: Grafton cheddar with applewood smoked bacon stuffed into a honey crisp apple
App #2: MontChevre goat cheese, toasted pecans stuffed into a granny smith apple
Sandwich #1: Mascarpone, nutella, apples and toasted hazelnuts
