11/12/08 Dinner Party

The Grilled Cheese Club was asked to do a cheese tasting for a specific group of members.  We chose to focus on the 7 styles of cheese, fresh, bloomy, washed, semi soft, hard, firm, blue (in that order below) and paired with toasted pecans, French bread, apple, apricots, raisins and honey.

 

Cheese #1:    Obanon, capriole goat cheese

Cheese #2:    Camembert, Le Chatelain

Cheese #3:    Chaumes, Fromageries de chaumes

Cheese #4:    Pecorino Toscano, Il Forteto

Cheese #5:    Ossau Iraty, Onetik

Cheese #6:    Parmigiano-Reggiano

Cheese #7     Forme D’Ambert, Tes Volcanes
